About

Hi there!

My name is Sr. Agnes and I am a Benedictine Oblate living in Italy. I love the Traditional Latin Mass and the Traditional Benedictine Office, which I pray every day. As part of my vocational discernment, I spent nearly a year in a Benedictine monastery. Although I was unable to persevere due to health reasons, I still feel called to a life of deep prayer and exclusive dedication to God. I made a vow of chastity in 2020 and I live as a spouse of Christ in the world.

On this blog I share my experiences and reflections on how to live a fuller life with the wisdom offered to us by Catholic doctrine. I incorporate many of the things I learned during my time in the monastery, especially those that can be applied to the life of ordinary lay Catholics. Please join me on this journey of discovery into what it means to be truly alive!
